This award recognizes their outstanding medical and scientific contribution to improving liver health outcomes, promoting liver health awareness, education, and prevention.

COLDA 2024

Registration is still ongoing for COLDA 2024

The Conference on Liver Disease in Africa (COLDA) 2024, organized by Academic Medical Education, as SOLDA secretariat, will feature a comprehensive program that addresses critical aspects of liver health pertinent to the African context. The conference will include plenary sessions, roundtable discussions, and oral abstract presentations covering a range of topics such as hepatitis B and C management, liver cancer, innovative treatment approaches, and more. Renowned experts will share the latest research findings, clinical practices, and public health strategies to combat liver disease across the continent.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in discussions, network with peers, and participate in hands-on sessions designed to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

We eagerly anticipate your participation in COLDA 2024, taking place on 19 – 21 September 2024 in Cairo, Egypt as we work together to revolutionize liver disease management and prevention worldwide.

Abstract Writing Webinar - Enduring materials

SOLDA’s second Abstract Writing Webinar, organized by Academic Medical Education as SOLDA secretariat, took place on the 23 May 2024 and was an amazing learning experience for all involved.

Participants gained valuable insights towards scientific writing abilities as Dr. Brierley shared his extensive expertise and provided practical tips on writing impactive abstracts that increases probability of one’s work being accepted by leading publications.
